Assessment & Curriculum Systems

Directed multiple curriculum adoption initiatives, including training and division-wide implementation

Used 
the Understanding by Design® Framework to train teachers in unpacking standards and designing units, performance assessments, and classroom instruction. 

Developed a new elementary and secondary instructional websites which provide easy access to department information and resources for administrators and teachers. 

Professional Learning & Capacity Building

Designed and delivered division-wide, school-based, and individualized professional learning with 100% positive feedback

Secured $57,000 in funding and trained 98% of reading teachers in Orton-Gillingham

Program Development & Innovation

Designed and ran a fully virtual summer school for 165 students in grades 1-5. Created extensive virtual learning resources tightly aligned to the SOLs. 

Created Literacy at Home website for K–5 families
