LEADERSHIP GROUNDED IN PEOPLE. DRIVEN BY RESULTS.
I’m an education executive with more than 17 years of experience leading people, implementation, and organizational change across K–12 systems.
Today, as Chief Academic Officer, I lead PreK–12 academic strategy, professional learning, program implementation, and continuous improvement. Throughout my career, I’ve been drawn to the same kind of work: taking something complex, unclear, or newly emerging and building the structures that make it work in practice.
That has meant building professional learning systems serving approximately 2,000 educators and staff, leading large-scale organizational and instructional initiatives, developing leaders, evaluating technology and external partners, managing resources, and supporting implementation at both the district and state levels. My statewide work has included evaluating instructional materials for state-approved lists, training educators and leaders across Virginia on the adoption and implementation of high-quality instructional materials, and providing direct implementation support to school divisions.
HOW I LEAD
BUILD THE SYSTEM
I turn complex priorities into clear structures, processes, and tools that people can actually use.
DEVELOP THE PEOPLE
I build capacity through professional learning, coaching, collaboration, and leadership development.
MEASURE WHAT MATTERS
I use data, feedback, and implementation evidence to understand what is working, refine the approach, and sustain results.
